Opening the research edition
Reading saved paper headlines and abstracts. The research edition updates on the server every hour.
A closer look at what comes next
New paper headlines, their authors, and the abstracts behind them. Follow engineering and science back to the original work.
Gathering the research edition
Hourly server updates. Reloading only opens the stored edition.
Quartiles describe a journal in a named ranking year. Scopus coverage is separate. An IEEE title alone does not establish either.

Opening the stored research edition
Reading saved headlines and abstracts. The server collects new research every 60 minutes.
The desk collects public metadata from the sources listed here. The server refreshes the stored edition every 60 minutes. Opening or reloading this page reads that saved edition without contacting external sources; publication schedules vary, and this edition is a bounded selection rather than a complete literature search.
Today and the last seven days use the current UTC date, independently of when this edition was retrieved. arXiv dates describe announcements or revisions, labeled on each paper; a revised older preprint is not a new publication. A record supplied only to month or year precision keeps that precision and is excluded from daily and weekly counts. An open-access link is a supplied link to a readable copy, not a guarantee about every version or reuse licence.
Journal articles, conference papers and preprints are labeled separately. A preprint label describes the version, and does not prove whether a later reviewed version exists. Abstracts are supplied by metadata providers and may be shortened at the source.
Scopus indexing is shown only where the edition has a documented journal listing. A JIF quartile is a journal-level ranking with its year and linked source; it is not a Scopus quartile or a quality score for an individual paper. Publisher-reported rankings without a subject category say so. Missing evidence appears as unavailable.
